Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients to understand their mental and emotional challenges related to trauma.

• Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations, focusing on their unique needs and circumstances.

• Engage in regular follow-up sessions to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, to support patients effectively.

• Educate both patients and staff on coping strategies for stress and trauma, enhancing community health literacy.

• Collaborate with medical staff, social services, and community resources to connect patients with additional support services.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, utilizing EMR systems to manage documentation efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced trauma, including physical and emotional injuries. You will work with a diverse population, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Our patient base reflects a wide array of backgrounds, and you will play a crucial role in delivering culturally competent care that respects and understands their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credential.
