Divine & Associates Children's Health Care System is actively seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dedicated team in providing both telehealth and in-person therapeutic services. The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to work remotely while serving clients in the vibrant city of San Francisco, CA. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually and includes a SIGN-ON BONUS to ensure a smooth integration into our team.

Work Environment\n

This role operates within our outpatient office setting, blending remote work flexibility with in-person sessions as needed. We maintain flexible hours, allowing you to schedule sessions that suit both your needs and those of your clients, with availability from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at our organization, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories.
\n
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering healing.
\n
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other professionals, to ensure coordinated care.
\n
• Delivering crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies and providing critical support.
\n
• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses and available coping mechanisms.
\n
• Maintaining confidential and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development related to trauma-informed care.
\n
• Staying updated on the latest research and practices in trauma therapy to enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LPCC license in the state of California.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, driven by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• The ability to maintain composure and focus in high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset conducive to working within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• At least 2 years of post-licensure counseling experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapies.

• Exposure to delivering services to various populations, including couples, for which we provide extensive training.

• A strong character defined by integrity, honesty, adaptability, and a commitment to quality care.

• A self-driven determination to complete documentation and notes within 24 hours to maintain accountability and client care standards.
