This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our telehealth facility is equipped with tools that facilitate effective virtual therapy sessions, ensuring that our clinicians can concentrate on providing high-quality care without the typical distractions of an in-person setting. Our operating hours are designed to accommodate various schedules, with services available from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and devise suitable treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care plan for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and resources.
\n
• Educate both patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources for continued support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence with legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.

• Participate actively in case consultations and professional development opportunities focusing on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to improve client outcomes and therapeutic effectiveness.

The primary client population consists of individuals, couples, and families dealing with trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited program.

• Current and valid LCPC licensure in the state of Illinois.
