The outpatient office is open from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, accommodating various schedules and ensuring that our clients can receive the necessary support at their convenience. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments, reviewing patients’ trauma histories to tailor appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing trauma and cultivating effective coping strategies.

• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring integrated care and positive patient outcomes.

• Respond to crisis situations with effective intervention strategies, providing support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on serving individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to, childhood abuse, domestic violence, and other significant psychological stressors. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland.
