Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including psychosocial assessments, diagnostic interviews, and comprehensive risk assessments, to identify the needs of students and their families.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with students, considering their unique backgrounds, cultural contexts, and personal development goals.
\n
• Provide therapeutic interventions in individual, couple, family, and group therapy formats using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).

• Offer crisis intervention services to students in acute distress, ensuring they receive immediate, appropriate care and support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in line with regulatory requirements and clinic policies.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies to empower them in managing their mental health challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with a wide-ranging multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care.
\n
• Regularly conduct outcome evaluations to assess treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic success.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health, integrating new findings into clinical workflows.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and foster trust within the therapeutic relationship.

This position primarily focuses on students—providing them with tools and support to navigate their emotional and psychological challenges. Your expertise will enable you to address a diverse range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts, ensuring students have access to quality mental health care in an educational context.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid California state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary for this position ranges between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
