Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of students, addressing various mental health concerns.

• Conduct assessments to identify behavioral health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate crisis interventions, providing immediate support and resources for students experiencing acute emotional distress.

• Collaborate effectively with teachers, school counselors, and families to create a coordinated care approach for student treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with state and federal regulations.

• Integrate trauma-informed care practices in therapy approaches to better support diverse student backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse population of K-12 students, addressing a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and social issues. By being present in the school environment, you will provide timely support that meets students at their point of need, working to foster resilience and emotional growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or a comparable credential recognized in the state of California.
