Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work setting while still providing face-to-face therapy through secure online platforms. You will work within a supportive team of professionals who collaborate regularly to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care. While the position demands flexibility, the standard schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some variability based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patients' needs and develop tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize various evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups focusing on topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and community resources.

• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to foster well-rounded treatment plans.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and accessibility to care.

• Guide patients through understanding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous, confidential case documentation in line with legal and ethical practices to ensure high-quality care continuity.

• Participate actively in case discussions, team meetings, and professional development to continuously enhance therapeutic skills.

• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to incorporate into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients are individuals from diverse backgrounds seeking support for various mental health concerns. You will work with both individuals and groups, including families seeking therapy for relationship dynamics, children and adolescents coping with behavioral issues, and adults managing chronic mental health disorders. Your role is critical in fostering a safe and supportive treatment environment where patients feel empowered to achieve personal growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Proven experience conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Successful history of providing individual and group therapy to varied populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities conducive to establishing rapport with clients.

• Strong ethical judgment and ability to maintain professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools.

• Adept at working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in working within an outpatient mental health setting is highly preferred.

• Prior involvement with integrated care models or community-focused mental health programs.

• Familiarity with telehealth services and best practices for remote therapy.

• Experience in leading group therapy sessions or psychoeducational workshops.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
