Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist/Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments and formulating accurate diagnoses based on clinical standards and best practices.

• Writing detailed therapeutic notes to document sessions, treatment plans, and progress in adherence to regulatory requirements.
\n
• Designing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients, fostering their growth and recovery.

• Providing therapy across various modalities including individual, child, couples, group, and family therapy, adapting your approach to meet diverse client needs.

• Collaborating with other behavioral health professionals and community organizations to provide comprehensive care when necessary.

• Maintaining a professional, organized, and self-motivated work ethic as a reliable member of our therapy team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, representing a wide range of age groups and presenting various mental health conditions. We focus on creating an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment where all clients feel valued and respected. Candidates who are bilingual, especially those who speak Spanish, are encouraged to apply as we aim to serve a broader spectrum of the community. A salary differential is available for bilingual therapists.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology or related fields.
\n
• Current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and licensure as an LMFT or LCSW.
\n
• In good standing with the CA BBS and registration with CAQH. Experience with insurance paneling, particularly with Alameda Alliance, is a plus.
\n
• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills with an ability to foster therapeutic alliances with clients.
\n
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome candidates with various experiences, the following are preferred:

• Proficiency in working with culturally and ethnically diverse populations.

• Experience treating a wide range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials. Full-time employees are also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, allowing you to focus on both your career and personal well-being.
