Social Worker - LCSW Profession: Social Services Specialty: LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Some 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM shifts Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Must-Have: Trauma Center Experience License: Valid State License required Certifications: MAB, LCSW CA, Masters in Social Work Description:Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide appropriate interventions for patients and families.Provide crisis intervention, advocacy, education, and community resource navigation.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address barriers and support safe transitions of care.Participate in discharge planning, care coordination, rounds, and complex case consultation.Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.Provide comprehensive inpatient social care coverage across services based on operational needs.Experience in emergency department social work is required.Knowledge in various areas including psychiatric disorders, substance abuse, and high-risk interventions is essential.Familiarity with community resources and supportive services is expected.Skills in conducting suicide assessments and mental status examinations are necessary.Ability to work with vulnerable populations, including those experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, is important.Strong communication and collaboration skills with healthcare teams are required.Flexibility to work weekends and evenings is necessary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
