Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new patients to ascertain their individual needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that strengthen community ties and provide invaluable resources.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, contributing to a coordinated approach in patient care that enhances treatment efficacy.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support for patients in acute distress, ensuring a rapid response and ongoing care.

• Deliver psychoeducation to patients regarding mental health conditions, potential treatment pathways, and available support systems.

• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations and by staying informed of the latest research and therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments and developing effective treatment strategies tailored to individual needs.

• Experience in delivering therapeutic services to a diverse patient population in both individual and group formats.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that promote strong therapeutic relationships.

• A firm understanding of ethical practices and professional boundaries in mental health care.

• Capability to proficiently navigate EHR systems and utilize technology effectively in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in an outpatient or community health setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote therapy delivery.
