This role is set in a remote work environment, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while maintaining close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals. Our outpatient office emphasizes a serene and supportive atmosphere, facilitating personal and professional growth. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced approach to work and life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver exceptional mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking assistance with stress reduction, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, goals, and challenges, tailoring mindfulness techniques and therapeutic approaches accordingly.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques to enhance self-awareness, emotional balance, and stress alleviation.
\n
• Develop and facilitate engaging group workshops and classes aimed at promoting mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies.

• Incorporate mindfulness into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns while supporting clients' personal growth trajectories.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive treatment plan that integrates mindfulness approaches across disciplines.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practices, self-reflection, and continuing education to enhance mastery in MBSR and related methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Your role as a mental health counselor will involve supporting clients in their quest for healthier coping strategies and promoting strategies that foster resilience. By utilizing mindfulness as a core component of your therapeutic practice, you will empower clients to achieve a greater sense of emotional stability and fulfillment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated expertise in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
