Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will engage with clients primarily through telehealth platforms, allowing for flexibility and accessibility. Working Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, you will manage your schedule to accommodate client needs while maintaining work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including structured MBSR programs designed to equip clients with the tools for stress reduction and relaxation.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify specific stressors, personal challenges, and goals, tailoring therapeutic techniques to individual client needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises and meditation techniques during sessions, fostering self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate interactive group workshops on mindfulness and stress management, enhancing community engagement and collective resilience.

• Incorporate mindfulness strategies into individualized therapy sessions, directly addressing clients' mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare providers to create an integrated treatment plan that encompasses a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions to track progress and outcomes effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health issues. By promoting mindfulness as a tool for coping, you will help individuals build resilience and improve their quality of life. Your compassionate approach will create a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences, ultimately guiding them toward healthier coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCISW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Strong counseling skills with a proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n
