Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and crisis interventions tailored to meet individual patient needs.

• Determine appropriate levels of care for patients through comprehensive assessments and coordinate suitable treatment plans.

• Work collaboratively with Reentry Social Workers to ensure effective discharge planning that facilitates smooth transitions for patients.
\n
• Maintain and complete all necessary documentation and statistical reports consistent with clinic requirements.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment planning and review progress for patients in mental health care.
\n
• Participate in clinical supervision with the Clinical Supervisor to enhance clinical skills and ensure delivery of effective therapy.
\n
• Lead process and psychoeducational groups, fostering an engaging environment conducive to personal growth and healing.
\n
• Possibly oversee and mentor social work interns or student volunteers, sharing expertise and providing guidance in clinical practice.

• Participate in medical rounds and mental health meetings to ensure integrated care within the healthcare delivery system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is the treatment of adolescents and families grappling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work with clients in unique situations, creating personalized therapy plans that cater to their specific needs. Your role as a therapist will empower these individuals, providing them essential tools to overcome their challenges and improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related mental health field.

• Independent licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
