Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews, documenting client cases from initial consultation through the entirety of their treatment journey.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health using evidence-based assessment methods.
\n
• Develop customized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for expression and healing.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborate with other mental health specialists, primary care physicians, and social workers to create comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Provide follow-up care by coordinating with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who may require hospitalization.

• Identify and mitigate any behaviors or barriers that may hinder a client’s recovery process.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing challenges related to the client's mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse client base that includes adults, adolescents, and families, each with unique backgrounds and mental health concerns. Our clients often face a range of challenges, from situational stressors to chronic mental health conditions, providing you with opportunities to employ various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, accredited by a recognized institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Arizona as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counseling Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• At least two years of professional experience as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, including AVATAR.
\n
• Strong understanding of the interplay between physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices in mental health counseling as recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a warm and empathetic demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients presenting a variety of mental health diagnoses and treatment needs.

• Familiarity with integrated care models and collaboration with healthcare providers from different disciplines.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside an attractive sign-on bonus.
