Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, catering to the modern needs of mental health professionals. However, our outpatient office provides a safe and welcoming space for therapy sessions and team meetings. Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the needs of our patients. This position allows for the use of virtual platforms to engage with clients and share valuable therapeutic resources.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine tailored treatment methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on facilitating trauma recovery and promoting resilience through therapeutic frameworks like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, emphasizing the need for empathy and swift action.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, viable coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all sessions and interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Allegiance Mental Healthcare, you will work with a diverse patient demographic affected by various trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have specific expertise in trauma therapy.

• Proficient knowledge and application of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional skills in communication and interpersonal relationships, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
