Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate client needs, developing a comprehensive understanding of their emotional and psychological state.

• Create and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results, utilizing evidence-based approaches to address issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and eating disorders.

• Conduct regular therapy sessions, both one-on-one and potentially in group settings, providing clients with the tools and strategies necessary to navigate their challenges successfully.

• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists or specialized therapy providers, to enhance wrapped-around care for clients.

• Document client progress and treatment plans diligently within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training and support offered by the organization as well as participation in case consultations and team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a wide range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families who face various mental health challenges. Your work may involve individuals dealing with anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, trauma, substance misuse, or eating disorders. We stress the importance of cultural competence, ensuring that therapy is adapted to meet the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and a commitment to utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in technology, specifically experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital communication tools.

• A strong ethical framework and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
