Key Responsibilities\n \n Establish a positive and trusting rapport with clients through empathetic communication and active listening techniques.
\n Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, developing individualized treatment plans based on each clients specific needs and circumstances.
\n Lead therapeutic sessions with individuals and groups, applying evidence-based techniques to address various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
\n Engage in regular follow-up sessions to monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n Facilitate referrals to specialized care providers when needed, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support throughout their mental health journey.
\n Document all client interactions and treatment progress thoroughly within our clinical management system, adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.
\n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Our client population typically seeks support for common issues such as stress management, relationship conflicts, trauma recovery, and emotional regulation. Your goal will be to empower clients through effective interventions that align with their personal values and aspirations.
Qualifications\n \n Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required; candidates without this credential will not be considered.
\n A Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory, ensuring you possess the necessary academic foundation.
\n Minimum of two years of experience providing individual and/or group therapy in a clinical setting, demonstrating your proficiency in therapeutic interventions.
\n Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential for managing caseloads effectively and completing administrative tasks in a timely manner.
\n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is a plus.
\n Prior experience in a community health setting, particularly in a remote or hybrid capacity, will be advantageous.
