Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through comprehensive intake interviews and standardized testing tools.

• Create customized therapeutic plans tailored to the individual needs of clients, incorporating evidence-based practices, and regularly update these plans based on progress.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive methods to engage diverse client populations.

• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing ongoing support, feedback, and strategies to empower them in their therapeutic journey.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, referring clients to appropriate psychiatric services or community resources as needed to enhance their treatment.

• Document client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Back to Life Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, trauma, and other mental health challenges. You will be responsible for providing compassionate care that respects each client's unique background and perspective, ensuring that your approach aligns with their specific needs and cultural context.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensing as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts is necessary.

• At least four years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating competency in both individual and group therapy.

• Robust understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, combined with a commitment to cultural competence in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
