Work Environment\n

This position primarily offers flexibility as a remote telehealth role, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your home or office. Our work culture emphasizes collaboration and ongoing professional development, ensuring that our therapists are well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of our patient population. While most of your work will occur during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be necessary to accommodate the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate mental health assessments to evaluate psychological health and determine individualized treatment methods tailored to each patient.

• Develop, implement, and continually evaluate individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices suitable for each patient’s specific conditions.
\n
• Deliver therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an open dialogue that encourages emotional expression and promotes personal growth.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Assist in crisis intervention, maintaining a calm demeanor and providing necessary support to patients during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and community resources available for additional support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient sessions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Engage actively in professional meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and best practices.

• Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health research and integrate these findings into your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse patient population that includes individuals struggling with various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. You will have the chance to work with clients of all ages, facilitating a supportive therapeutic environment where they can address personal challenges and develop coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.
\n
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and best practices related to trauma-informed care.
\n
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, articulate diagnoses clearly, and design effective treatment plans based on patient needs.
\n
• Proficiency in providing both individual and group therapy, utilizing various therapeutic methods to achieve desired outcomes.
\n
• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
\n
• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred. This experience should ideally include work with diverse populations and various mental health presentations.

• Experience in a telehealth capacity is beneficial, particularly in managing remote patient interactions and related documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
