Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing resilience in patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help clients process their experiences and cultivate coping mechanisms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to express their emotions and share their experiences.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to mental wellness.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and additional resources available to them.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes due to trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Missouri.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
