Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each client’s unique needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Play Therapy to deliver one-on-one sessions tailored to individual needs.

• Establish therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, regularly monitoring and evaluating their progress to adapt treatment strategies as necessary.

• Facilitate teletherapy sessions, providing accessible support for clients facing barriers to in-person visits.

• Document all client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, staying current with best practices and emerging trends in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele for this role includes students from diverse backgrounds dealing with various mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and foster a therapeutic alliance with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach when working with clients from various backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or community setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus, as is the ability to engage collaboratively with educational staff to support holistic student development.

Compensation and Benefits\n
