Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Delivering one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing effective therapeutic methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and other evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s circumstances.

• Setting collaborative therapeutic goals with clients and consistently evaluating their progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Providing accessible teletherapy options to clients, ensuring those who may face challenges accessing in-person sessions can still receive the necessary support.

• Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

• Engaging in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and education to keep your clinical skills current and effective.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base consists of diverse individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to: anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will focus on building trusting relationships with your clients, understanding their unique backgrounds and experiences, and providing tailored support that addresses their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this Mental Health Counselor position will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients’ struggles.
\n
• Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to effectively handle caseloads and associated administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preferred qualifications include:

• A background in working with a variety of mental health issues, particularly trauma-informed care.

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms effectively to engage with clients.

• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
