Founding Sales (Account Executive)
Snapshot: $140K–$180K base · $210K–$250K OTE + equity · San Francisco · On-site (5 days) · No visa sponsorship · 4–8 yrs B2B SaaS
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a seed-stage AI company (~10 people, founded 2024) building AI analysts that work inside browsers and internal systems like humans — automating AML, KYC, KYB, and transaction monitoring end-to-end for banks, fintechs, and crypto companies. This is a founding sales hire: own the full cycle and lay the foundation for a sales org that scales.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through close with banks, fintechs, and crypto companies. Build the sales playbook and define the motion and processes. Work with the GTM team on predictable, data-driven pipeline. Partner with the CEO on pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning. Hire and coach the initial AEs.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 90 days: ramp on the product and compliance buyer, and build self-sourced pipeline. First year: close six-figure deals, codify the playbook, and begin building the team.
MUST-HAVES
4–8 years B2B SaaS sales at early-stage startups; 2+ years as a closing AE managing full-cycle enterprise deals; a track record closing six-figure deals; energized by building from scratch.
NICE-TO-HAVES
Compliance, fintech, banking, or crypto sales experience; experience as a first/founding sales hire.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$140K–$180K base (USD), $210K–$250K OTE, competitive equity, unlimited PTO, full healthcare, free meals, annual retreats.
LOCATION & WORK MODEL
On-site 5 days/week in San Francisco.
