Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing flexibility while maintaining a collaborative atmosphere. As part of our team, you will connect with colleagues— including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists—through virtual platforms, enhancing seamless communication and integrated care. Your work hours will primarily be Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with some evening hours potentially required on a rotational basis due to client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine clients' psychological and substance use profiles, paying particular attention to the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized and dynamic treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on skills development for coping, relapse prevention, and emotional management to support clients through their recovery journey.

• Ensure accurate documentation of treatment progress and interventions, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines while maintaining client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population consists of individuals grappling with both mental health issues and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• Proficient knowledge and experience in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong understanding of the interrelationship between mental health and substance use disorders to provide comprehensive care.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant counseling experience, effectively preparing you for the complexities of working with clients who have multiple diagnoses.
