Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at improving student mental health. Key duties include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health status of students.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs and goals.

• Utilizing effective therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to provide impactful sessions.

• Keeping detailed and compliant clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and best practices.

• Collaborating closely with teachers, school psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student care.

• Leading educational workshops for students and families focused on mental health awareness and coping strategies.

• Engaging in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance clinical practice and team collaboration.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health to inform practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on students within the school environment, addressing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and behavioral issues. You will work alongside children, adolescents, and their families, offering support during critical periods of development and change. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in providing psychotherapy services to youth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
