Regulatory Reporting Analyst Location: New York, NY Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Our client is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join a high-visibility regulatory team. This role focuses on regulatory reporting related to derivatives activity and offers strong exposure to cross-functional teams, regulatory requirements, and technology-driven processes. The ideal candidate has hands‑on regulatory reporting experience and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and submit regulatory reports related to derivatives activity, including CFTC, SEC, and CAT reporting Ensure all regulatory submissions are accurate, complete, and delivered on time in accordance with applicable rules Investigate, analyze, and resolve reporting breaks, exceptions, and data discrepancies Partner closely with Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Front Office teams to support system enhancements and regulatory-driven changes Monitor regulatory developments and assist with implementing new or evolving reporting requirements Support internal and external audits, regulatory inquiries, and examinations Maintain documentation, procedures, and controls related to regulatory reporting processes Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls Qualifications 3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, ideally within derivatives Hands‑on experience with CFTC, SEC, and/or CAT reporting Strong understanding of regulatory reporting controls and data governance Experience working with reporting systems or data tools; technology exposure is a strong plus Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines Employment Details Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Finance #J-18808-Ljbffr Phyton Talent Advisors
