Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to identify clients' therapeutic needs, facilitating the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing various modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused strategies.

• Offer clients opportunities for individual counseling, couples therapy, family therapy, and group sessions, ensuring a broad spectrum of support.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists and social workers, striving to deliver holistic patient care.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, while ensuring adherence to professional, ethical, and legal standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and seeking out the latest research and advancements in the mental health field.

In this role, you will serve a diverse population, including adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
