Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients with mood disorders, including in-depth evaluations of symptom severity and duration.
• Collaborate with individuals to create personalized treatment plans that consider their unique circumstances and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, helping them understand treatment options and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress systematically throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans to maximize effectiveness.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive integrated care.
• Remain informed about the latest research regarding mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster professional growth and clinical skill enhancement.
• Advocate for clients, striving to reduce stigma surrounding mood disorders and ensuring their voices are heard.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with clients dealing with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Each client presents unique challenges, and your expertise will help them navigate their mental health journey with personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Proven ability to deliver therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focused on treating mood disorders.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• A track record of successful client outcomes in managing mood-related issues is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients of varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 – 100,000, along with a sign-on bonus to enhance your initial experience with us. Benefits include:
