Key Responsibilities In this role, mental health counselors will: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health to understand their challenges, strengths, and goals. Develop and implement tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that promote personal growth and emotional wellness. Provide individual therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities, adjusting approaches based on client feedback and progress. Set therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and continually monitor their progress throughout the therapeutic process. Offer teletherapy services for clients who prefer or require virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to uphold ethical and legal standards. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, new therapies, and advances in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus Our counseling services cater to a diverse clientele that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and relationship challenges. Our clinicians work with individuals at various stages of their mental health journeys, delivering culturally competent care that respects and honors each person's unique experiences and backgrounds. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must possess: A current and valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD). A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; however, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients. Empathy and compassion, with a non-judgmental approach to client care. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage a diverse caseload effectively. Preferred Experience While candidates with a range of experiences are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with: Experience providing teletherapy services or working within a virtual counseling environment. Background in trauma-informed care or specialized training in particular therapeutic modalities. Experience working with children, adolescents, or marginalized communities. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, with performance-based adjustments.
