Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with clients to fully understand their mental health challenges and concerns, which will inform the formulation of clinical diagnoses.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based modalities, ensuring that therapy is tailored to the unique needs and objectives of clients.

• Provide therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions, facilitating meaningful dialogue and emotional resolution.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in acute mental health distress, leveraging your skills to stabilize situations and promote safety.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines to protect client confidentiality.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and coordinated treatment efforts.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, advocating for the rights and needs of clients at all times.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and continuing education opportunities to remain current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Pathways of Wisdom, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of two years of related experience providing therapy or counseling services.
