Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients’ mental and emotional health statuses, utilizing various engagement techniques.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans based on client assessments, ensuring active collaboration with clients for a shared understanding of their goals.

• Provide individual counseling sessions that encompass a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship conflict.

• Facilitate couples therapy to enhance communication and resolve conflicts, guiding couples through tailored exercises and reflective practices.

• Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client needs and progress, providing updates and documentation adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage with interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with healthcare professionals to advocate for holistic client care.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans within our electronic health record system.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical moments, fostering a safe environment for clients in distress.

• Advocate for client empowerment, providing information and resources that support informed decision-making regarding treatment options.

• Participate in professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions to remain informed about the latest therapeutic methods and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role serves a diverse clientele including children, teenagers, adults, and couples struggling with various mental health issues. Our therapists are trained to adapt their approaches to cater for the unique challenges faced by these groups, ensuring culturally sensitive and age-appropriate therapy solutions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is a requirement for this position.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Georgia.
\n
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and executing therapeutic interventions.

• Effective communication skills with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with clients.
\n
• Strong writing skills for the timely completion of documentation, including progress notes and treatment plan evaluations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy.

• Previous experience working within community health settings or with interdisciplinary teams is a plus.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
