Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Elysium, you will:

• Maintain a caseload of clients, actively establishing rapport and fostering positive relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, stability, set upcoming appointments, and determine readiness for discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation by keeping detailed progress notes and updates for each client, as part of our commitment to quality care.

• Conduct intake assessments to determine the needs of new clients, guiding them into appropriate treatment pathways.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions per week, employing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to achieve positive outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth and adolescents grappling with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and other behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
