Urban Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Port Charlotte, Florida. This full-time position requires a passionate therapist who is committed to helping patients rebuild their strength and improve their functional mobility. Work Environment

This position is fully onsite at our state-of-the-art facility in Port Charlotte, Florida, which encompasses 5,000 square feet of dedicated treatment space. Here, you will work alongside a team of committed professionals in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our practice mainly treats patients with private medical insurance, enabling us to focus on personalized, high-quality care without the constraints often faced in larger healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each patient's objectives, health history, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and manage a manageable caseload, treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and effective care.
• Create individualized care plans that may include a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions.
• Utilize effective modalities and equipment within our facility to enhance patient rehabilitation.
• Track and evaluate treatment progress, adjusting care strategies as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Document all aspects of patient care, maintaining accurate and thorough records using WebPT EMR software.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, focusing on enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients are primarily individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions that affect mobility and physical functionality. The diverse range of cases ensures you will encounter various challenges, from sports injuries to age-related mobility issues, allowing for a rich and fulfilling work experience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy and demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• A clean professional record with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Competence in developing and executing effective exercise and rehabilitation protocols for varied patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience within a private practice environment is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using WebPT EMR software facilitates smooth operations and patient documentation.
• Demonstrated success in patient outcomes and rehab advancements through innovative treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

Urban Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is proud to offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
