Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and initial evaluations of clients to understand their unique emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet the specific goals of each client, leveraging evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing diverse therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and security of client information.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health practices and research, utilizing opportunities for professional development and continuing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing short-term situational difficulties, long-term emotional disorders, and those coping with challenges such as stress, anxiety, work-life balance, and workplace conflicts. Your expertise and understanding will play a critical role in guiding clients to achieve their personal growth and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements relevant to clinical services.

• A minimum of one year of professional experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals dealing with substance abuse issues.

• Prior experience in assessment, diagnosis, and executing both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Proficient computer skills with experience in electronic health record software and basic keyboarding skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience providing telehealth services, as well as those who have demonstrated successful outcomes in counseling and therapeutic practices. Additional certifications in specialization areas (e.g., trauma-informed care, adolescent counseling) will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
