Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct live video therapy sessions, providing short-term and evidence-based treatment for clients with a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Utilize virtual tools to educate clients on coping strategies, encourage the setting of realistic mental health goals, and facilitate problem-solving skills.

• Work independently and maintain a flexible schedule to adapt to client needs while ensuring a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

• Document therapy sessions accurately in accordance with state regulations and health guidelines, ensuring all patient records are up to date and securely stored.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will consist of a wide array of individuals seeking mental health support including working professionals, students, and families within the state of California. You will provide tailored therapeutic interventions to meet their unique needs and guide them toward achieving improved mental health outcomes. Your role will be vital in addressing both immediate concerns and longer-term mental health objectives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Active licensure in California as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• 3-4 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health counseling, particularly in teletherapy settings.

• Strong understanding and adherence to federal, state, and local laws concerning health and social welfare.
