Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor and Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments for students, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and methodologies.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address mental health issues while focusing on the integration of students into the school community.

• Providing therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based, specifically tailored to conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders, and experiences of trauma.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions designed to foster emotional regulation and effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure a unified approach to student care.

• Offering crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, ensuring students feel safe and supported.

• Delivering psychoeducation to students and their families about mental health resources and support mechanisms.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client interactions under strict adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with educational and mental health regulations.

• Engaging in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development to continuously enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
\n
• A minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating targeted treatment plans.

• Adept at delivering therapy in both individual and group settings, utilizing a range of therapeutic approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, maintaining poise in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a commitment to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with extensive experience in trauma-informed care, special education settings, or collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n

This rewarding full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
