Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that facilitate an understanding of each patient's trauma history and therapeutic needs.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients navigate their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient wellbeing.
\n
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize patients as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development, emphasizing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continuously enhance service provision.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique struggles that trauma survivors face is essential for delivering effective support and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship. You will play a crucial role in guiding your clients toward healing and empowerment in their day-to-day lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, specifically in a mental health or trauma-focused setting.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor towards patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
