Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a full-time remote setting, offering flexibility while ensuring consistent access to high-quality outpatient care. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some need for flexibility to accommodate patient schedules. As an integral part of our counseling team, you will utilize telehealth technologies and electronic health records (EHR) to maintain effective communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique experiences, strengths, and challenges, facilitating the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or solution-focused therapy, adjusted to meet the cultural and personal preferences of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to effectively address mental health concerns and promote overall resilience and well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure that each patient receives coordinated, comprehensive care that encompasses their various needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and temporary support to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, stabilizing their condition and ensuring safety.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, appropriate treatment options, and community resources available to support them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential record-keeping in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring clear documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Actively participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions to stay abreast of best practices and enhance personal and professional growth.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
