Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home while connecting with patients via our telehealth platform. We use advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems which streamline patient documentation and facilitate seamless communication with team members. The typical work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate patient needs. Flexibility is important as you may adjust your hours to ensure access to care for all our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments, effectively evaluating patients’ psychological well-being to devise and implement appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect an understanding of clients' unique circumstances and conditions.
\n
• Provide various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, adapting your approach to meet patient preferences.

• Conduct engaging individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to explore their emotions, improve their coping strategies, and foster personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment plan that promotes integrated care for our patients.
\n
• Assist in crisis intervention, remaining calm and composed during high-pressure situations to provide immediate support and resources for individuals in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights and updates regarding patient progress and treatment adjustments.

• Stay informed on current mental health research and best practices to continually enhance your therapeutic skills.

The therapist in this role will work with a diverse group of clients who are confronting various mental health challenges. Our patients come from different backgrounds and experiences, each requiring a tailored approach to their care. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, making accurate diagnoses, and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy through various therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that allow for the development of strong therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient in EHR systems and comfortable using technology for telehealth services.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred to ensure a depth of expertise and understanding in the field.

• Previous experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery is advantageous.
