Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our dynamic team. While this position largely involves virtual interactions with patients, participation in occasional in-person meetings and team-building activities will be expected to foster communication and collaboration. Our core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, taking into account the interplay between patients' medical and psychological issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and medical conditions, including those with chronic illnesses such as chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use issues. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between mental and physical health, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each patient's care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in effectively addressing the mental health concerns of individuals with co-occurring medical issues.

• Prior experience in delivering integrated care alongside medical professionals.
\n
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong capacity for interpersonal relationships.

• Commitment to maintaining professional integrity and excellent ethical standards, including patient confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment plans effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
