Job Description

In this Assistant Project Manager Building and Construction role in Rochester, NY you will:

Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate with project managers to track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
Support the preparation and review of project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all job sites.
Participate in regular site visits to oversee construction activities and provide updates.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall success of projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

A strong background or education in construction management or a related field.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and project management tools.
A proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
