We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our expanding team at the Child Care Mental and Counseling Center. This full-time position is primarily remote, offering the flexibility to deliver care that accommodates the needs of your clients from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to establish a deep understanding of each patient's unique needs, strengths, and challenges.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the specific experiences of individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups remotely to address prevalent mental health topics, encouraging community engagement and shared learning among participants.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure all aspects of a client’s mental health journey are attended to.

• Provide crisis intervention services, being available during urgent situations to support clients in navigating their mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients on their mental health conditions, treatment protocols, and available community resources to foster empowerment and informed decision-making.
\n
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans meticulously, in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards of practice.
\n
• Engage actively in team consultations, professional development workshops, and continuous learning to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients served by our center come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including, but not limited to, children, adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid professional license in the state of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist.
\n
• Strong familiarity with mental health disorders and treatment methodologies, coupled with demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive assessments.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in a virtual setting, to foster trust and rapport with clients.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) technologies and telehealth platforms, enhancing the efficiency of client management and care delivery.
\n
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain professional boundaries, and uphold ethical standards in all therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, particularly through telehealth platforms, is highly desirable.

• Background in working with children and adolescents, especially in family-oriented therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
