Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and challenges.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with each client.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Setting therapeutic goals with clients and continuously monitoring their progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Providing virtual therapy options to improve accessibility for clients with mobility or scheduling challenges.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes to adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.

• Actively participating in team meetings, peer consultations, and professional development workshops to enhance skills and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population that may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, substance abuse, and life transitions. Your role is pivotal in helping these clients establish coping strategies, improve their emotional regulation, and enhance their overall mental well-being through engagement in therapy and follow-up support.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker with R Privilege (LCSW-R), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Hold a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Exhibit outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n
