Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' emotional and behavioral health, specifically focusing on relationships and mood disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique situations and goals of each client, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities including Structural Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Communication Therapy.

• Employ evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective therapeutic interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their mental well-being.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary and collaborating with psychiatrists and other professionals to provide integrated care.

• Stay informed on the latest research in mood disorders and therapeutic techniques to continuously improve client treatment strategies.

• Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to bolster skills and knowledge in the field.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and promote understanding and resources within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
