Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly individuals, identifying specific needs and developing personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions tailored to address emotional challenges such as grief, loss, and life transitions related to aging.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and social workers, to develop comprehensive care plans that provide holistic support to our clients.

• Educate families and caregivers on effective strategies to promote emotional well-being and enhance the quality of life for elderly individuals.

• Provide specialized grief counseling to both residents and their families dealing with end-of-life issues, offering emotional support during a particularly challenging time.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.
