Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your chosen environment while occasionally visiting our outpatient office for team meetings and client sessions as required. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide medication reminders and assistance to clients, ensuring they adhere to their prescribed treatment plans. This includes proactive communication regarding medication refills and proper storage, alongside monitoring adherence as per program protocols.

• Assist clients with transportation needs, whether through personal or agency-provided vehicles. In addition, teach clients how to navigate public transportation systems to help them maintain independence in attending their medical appointments.
\n
• Oversee the availability of household supplies, transporting items as necessary to support client needs while promoting self-sufficiency.
\n
• Deliver services that consistently meet high standards of care, facilitating client progress towards their goals, and maximizing their satisfaction with our services.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards applicable to our programs, including timely documentation and adherence to certification requirements.
\n
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, providing timely updates and sharing insights that enhance our collective mission.
\n
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive client documentation, including session notes and transportation logs, to support client treatment continuity.
\n
• Teach life skills such as shopping, meal planning, and cooking to empower clients in their daily routines.
\n
• Observe clients’ moods and behaviors, reporting any significant changes while implementing agency safety protocols and serving as a positive role model.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds with differing mental health needs. This includes children, adults, and families, allowing you to engage with complex cases that require an understanding of cultural nuances and adaptability in counseling approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
\n
• Possession of active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California is mandatory, given the billing requirements through Medicare. Note that we currently cannot accept applicants with associate licenses.

• Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite, to facilitate efficient documentation and communication.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple client cases, demonstrating self-direction and the capacity to work independently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is a plus, though not a requirement.

• Previous experience in similar counseling roles or mental health settings will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 122,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
