Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to pinpoint the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of patients and their families.

• Utilize detailed observations, interviews, and assessments to identify and assess mental health needs related to end-of-life issues.

• Provide individual counseling sessions that focus on grief, transitional support, and other emotional concerns using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitate group counseling sessions, engaging families in discussions surrounding coping mechanisms, grief management, and collective healing journeys.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical staff and bereavement counselors, to address behavioral concerns and establish comprehensive care plans.

• Support families during crisis situations by providing immediate intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when necessary.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops geared towards equipping families with tools and resources for better emotional health during the dying process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
