Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available support systems.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy tailored to the unique needs of clients facing end-of-life challenges, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and grief counseling.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and hospice nurses, to create and implement holistic treatment plans that are client-centered and appropriate for the client’s stage of illness.

• Offer crisis management, risk assessments, and safety planning as needed to ensure the emotional well-being of clients and their families.

• Develop and lead psychoeducation sessions and support groups to help clients and families cope with loss and foster resilience.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethics and regulatory requirements, ensuring complete records of treatment interventions and client progress.

• Engage in continuous learning by participating in team meetings, supervision sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Your primary focus will be on clients facing life-limiting illnesses and their family members. Qualifications\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $60,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
