Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gather information on the emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting patients and their families.

• Facilitate discharge planning across a multidisciplinary care continuum, coordinating with healthcare providers, third-party payers, and community resources.

• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding coping strategies and emotional support through their illness journey.

• Administer crisis intervention techniques and deliver brief and long-term individual, group, and family therapies as needed.

• Participate in on-call rotations to address after-hour inquiries and provide timely support when challenges arise.

• Present at educational conferences as a specialist in psychosocial oncology practice, sharing knowledge and advancing community understanding.

• Contribute to the community by offering education, research, and volunteering to enhance services for cancer survivors.

Qualifications\n
