Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing you to provide care from your home or another suitable environment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents, drawing from clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by each patient, while taking into account their developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively manage and alleviate mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage parents and caregivers, promoting a nurturing and supportive environment for the young client’s development.

• Collaborate with our team of child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care, promoting the best possible outcomes for our patients.

• Respond to mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents, providing immediate crisis intervention and support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options while connecting them to valuable community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per the legal and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and uphold quality standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities to refine your skills and share insights with colleagues.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent mental health practices, integrating this knowledge into your therapeutic approach.

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• Direct experience providing individual and family therapy, particularly with children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and best practices in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a child-centered approach to therapy.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable navigating computer applications essential for record-keeping and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
